Hiiiii all!!!

Hiii!!! This is my first timid post here at the wonderful community of Blogger. I'm Dru, nice to meet you all! ^_^

I'm sure you're wondering what this blog is about, since the title doesn't give you much of a clue, does it ? ;)

This will be my official blog, along with anything that may mean, (thoughts, writings, pictures, etc etc) but also in winter and in spring 2008 it will be my .... ERASMUS BLOG!!!!!!!!!!!!



Yeah, baby, I'm going to Jyvaskyla, Finland!!!! I am sooo excited! (Can you tell?!)

On Thursday the 24th I was accepted into the University as an exchange student!!

Yesterday I went to a Chinese Buffet (all you can eat for 12 euros!) to celebrate with my good friends! ^^ The lady there was quite friendly, and we also got Chinese beer (Tsingtao beer!) and Sake! *hehe*

After lots of trial and tribulations, I finally made my mind up on Tuesday. It was between Jyvaskyla and Ghent, Belgium, but I wanted Jyvaskyla from the start. I even dreamt about it! XD (Btw, it's pronounced YuuVAskuula). The teacher in charge of the Erasmus process was very nice and helpful, she's Swedish herself.

I will go the Spring Semester, January to June 2008! *wild dance*

The weekend before last I was frantically searching the internet for info on Finland, the life, the culture, the weather, everything! Here are some of the pictures I found :
